Dogs love to eat the stuff their humans eat. But it is not always good for them. But what about cheese? Cheese may be a healthy, protein-filled treat with Vitamin A, B-complex vitamins, and essential fatty acids, but it’s also high in calories.

Can Labradors have cheese? Well, the answer is generally yes but it depends.

Certain cheeses are ok for dogs to eat and some types of cheese may cause stomach upset or other problems like diarrhea. Cottage cheese and plain yogurt are generally safe for dogs.

Remember: Before giving your dog cheesy treats, make sure your dog can handle even small amounts of dairy.

Is Cheese okay for Lab puppies to eat?

Cheese is not typically recommended for puppies because it is high in fat and may cause stomach upset. However, some puppies can handle cheese without any problems. If you are giving your puppy cheese, start with a small amount and watch for any signs of digestive trouble.

Even if they can handle cheese, I would strongly recommend not to feed your pubs cheese. They have special nutritional needs and they need to get everything they need from their food.

It is not worth the risk of giving your pub cheese when they could easily get the same nutrients from other sources.
