What he saw is hard to watch.
A silver four-door sedan slowly pulls over on the side of the road. The car stops. The back door opens.
Out jumps the Rottweiler.
Within moments, the vehicle drives away — leaving her standing there, alone. No hesitation. No second glance. Just gone.
The dog remains on the roadside, watching the only people she trusted disappear into the distance.
Riverside County Animal Services has confirmed it is investigating the incidents in coordination with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the vehicle or those responsible to come forward.
Abandonment is more than neglect — it is betrayal. Dogs are loyal. They love without conditions. And they depend entirely on the humans who promise to protect them.
